Learn With Me

Learning 1-1 can be a great way to really focus on your goals and progress at your own pace. During these lessons you will receive feedback on all aspects of your ukulele playing, as well as be provided with tasks and challenges to help you reach your goals. I can help you work toward you goals, learn the songs that you want to learn, but also keep you on the right path to ensure that your learning is structured and allows you to improve and progress efficiently, effectively, and with all of the right tools. I will be right by your side every step of the way. There is nothing I love more than being part of my students journey and seeing them grow and flourish into fantastic ukulele players and musicians.

I truly believe that the ukulele is one of the most effective instruments to engage kids in the world of music, ignite their passion, and along the way develop so many skills that can set them up to achieve anything they set their minds too. The ukulele is a fantastic instrument and tool that can educate kids to understand the language of music, learn with others, and grow in confidence in their abilities through performing. 

I am very passionate about making sure kids all have equal opportunities to learn and thrive, which is why my classes are small in size. It is important to me to get to know my students, understand their own unique learning styles, and cater my teaching to how they learn best. At the same time, my students will learn how to work with others in the class, and help each other grow and work as a team. 

I also make sure my students are placed in classes that will suit them best according to age and ability. 

Exams aren’t for everyone, but I do put many students through their exams. I use both RockSchool and RGT exams, both of which are internationally recognised exams and can be extremely useful for applications as they get older.
